Don't Shoot! was born out of frustration, love, anger, fear, and all the emotions that you can think of to describe the turmoil that is going on in our community worldwide. The 4111 title is a play on the number we dial for information services, we will be bringing you information through poetic form. This is not your typical showcase, we will be treating you to something very special and unique in the spoken word community. We hope that you will come out and support these four artists. We are also looking to raise funds for a youth, Aidan that was incarcerated for defending himself against a drunk man who was attempting to assault him and his girlfriend. We hope to give at the least half of our proceeds towards this cause. So we are asking even more than usual for your help to put this event on the Montreal Map.
